Obesity Portal

Obesity PortalAs part of the overall development of the web complex, the Obesity Portal website has received a new theme. The new theme was developed on a development server and transferred to the live server with minimal fuss and without the need to re-enter any content.

The move was part of preparation for a move from an academic obesity information site to a obesity information commercial site. This site is the hub of a number of sites. A number of other sites are built in sub domains and address various component areas associated with the overall objective of the web complex.

Rose Hip & Tutu

Rose Hip and TutuRose Hip & Tutu are an independent boutique specialising in sustainable design. In order to provide the ability to produce the correct feeling for the site the customer wanted to have a very clean and visually graphic site that could be changed easily, to reflect the ongoing variations that are required for businesses working in the fashion industry.

The owners of Rose Hip & Tutu also had a great deal of skill in producing creative images that they wanted to show on both their site and within their shop.

After working closely with Rose Hip & Tutu owners and going through the creative processes It was decided that the site required a very minimal look and relatively unbounded content.

Sunshine street

Sunshine streetSunshine Street is part of the series of website setup on behalf of Rose Hip and Tutu or Rosemount in Aberdeen.

As part of the overall marketing strategy, this site has now migrated into the Rosehip and Tutu Web complex.

The objective of the site was to give a bright and happy feel. After going through a number of iterations in the design process we decided to go for a spring / summer feeling with our choice of imagery and colours.

The site is a basic Content Managed site with a simple word processor type interface that allows editors to create, control and manage the content, without the need for any special tool or a high skill level. The site also displays an advert block down the right hand side.

Orkney @ Obesity Portal

Orkney Obesity PortalThe Orkney @ Obesity Portal is one of a series of separate sub domain sites which makes up part of the Obesity Portal complex of websites, which covers all the health areas around Scotland.

Each site is a content managed site and is independent. The customer is currently looking at using these sites to promote the Obesity aspects in the various health boards. Each site can be managed by an individual and it is also possible to allow authenticated access to individuals and / or businesses. It also has the capability to display adverts served from a central advert management system that is also part of the complex. This approach provides the ability to manage advert consistency across the whole complex.

Vintage Phoenix

Vintage Phoenix web complex by PowerShock LtdVintage Phoenix is a brand of Rosehip and Tutu. Although it is an independent Content Managed site is uses the same theme as the Rose Hip and Tutu site. Once again this site gives the customer a great deal of control over the graphic look of the site and like the main Rose Hip and Tutu site the customer can change the background of the content pages.

This allows the customer to create a Vintage Phoenix brand specific site that can capture the mood and feeling of the Vintage Phoenix brand through the imagery and colours used within the site. It does, however, retain enough consistency with the main site so as not to appear to be disassociated with the parent site.

The customer is able to use the Vintage Phoenix site in conjunction with the main site via various hot links placed thought the content and within the imagery used on both sites.
